OUR CORE VALUES & GOALS
Ka mate kainga tahi, Ka ora kainga rua
There is more than one way to achieve an objective
At Call of the Wild, we understand that every landscape, landowner, and project is unique. There is no single approach that fits all environments. We take the time to listen, to understand, and to design solutions that align with both environmental outcomes and the values of those connected to the land.
We respect that whenua may be used for kai gathering, may contain wāhi tapu, or carry deep cultural and ancestral significance. Our pest control methodologies are tailored to minimise disturbance and disruption while still delivering effective, measurable results.
Collaboration & Relationships
We are committed to building strong networks and enduring relationships with iwi, landowners, community groups, and stakeholders. Trust, open communication, and shared objectives are central to our success.
Working alongside iwi, we apply innovative ground-based methodologies that are both practical and culturally respectful. Together, we protect biodiversity for future generations.
Environmental Responsibility
We strike a careful balance between delivering effective pest control and minimising environmental impact. Our team has a genuine passion for native birdlife, the regeneration of native forest, and the protection of waterways.
From full eradication programmes to pest suppression and long-term maintenance, we tailor each plan to suit the scale, sensitivity, and objectives of the project.
Doing nothing is not an option. We are proactive in developing solutions that suit the environment, the landowner, and the available budget. There is always a way forward — and we work with you to find it.
Integrity & Professionalism
Confidentiality, discretion, and honesty underpin everything we do.
Integrity means doing the right thing — even when nobody is looking.
