Tena koutou katoa,

It is a privilege to be able to share my time and experience with Jason Day and ‘Call of the Wild’

Over the years I have watched Jason build his business with knowledge, core values, integrity, and humility. Opportunities and relationships have been built on these values and in Jason’s case will continue to do so.

On a professional level, Kai Waho LTD have contracted Jason and his services on multiple occasions over the past 10 years. Pest control, guiding, co-host. He is extremely popular with Rangatahi, that attend our annual Rangatahi Wananga, where he delivers one of the lessons in the wananga, an in-depth practical course on trapping, trap locations, trap sets and safety in the outdoors as a solo operator. Our overseas visitors also enjoy Jason’s company with co-hosting on guided hunts and nature walks. Very humorous and comforting when hosting clients.

Cam Speedy (Director) – Wildlife Management Associates Ltd

I have been involved with Call of the Wild Ltd since 2018 working on a range of collaborative projects or sub-contracting Jason Day and his team for various projects I am involved with. Jason is one of the finest examples of a pest control field operator I have meet in my 35 years in the industry. His eye for detail and understanding of the species he targets is second to none. His knowledge and experience and gentle manner with people also make him and incredible teacher and mentor. These skills, combined with solid ethics and integrity make Call of the Wild Ltd my first port of call when I need trustworthy, professional pest control delivery or for up-skilling other project teams. I have no hesitation in recommending Call of the Wild Ltd to any business or agency looking for quality pest management outcomes and would be only too happy to provide further information on the types of projects and achievements I have experienced working with them. Call of the Wild Ltd is a valued associate of Wildlife Management Associates Ltd.

Allan Ratana (Operations Manager) – Complete Site Solutions .

Taupo

I was approached by a major client to see if I knew anything about pest control and what methods would best suit. They wanted a Pest Control plan that would be safe, have an immediate impact, target specific pests and be cost effective.I hadn’t done much trapping since my teenage years and wasn’t sure of what was involved.

However, I did know of someone who was an expert in the field and that person was Jason Day of “Call of The Wild”.

I promptly called Jason to arranged a meeting where I could explain some of the complexed issues that he might face if he was to take on the work.

From the first meeting, I knew Jason and his team were the right people for the job. He explained things in plain English, was able to answer all questions, knew his stuff.

Jason and the team from “Call of The Wild” sub-contracted to me for the first 18 months and in that time put a huge effort in with awesome results. Over one thousand possums, hundreds of rats, and over 100 feral pigs taken.

Jason and the team have done such a great job that they have become a preferred contractor to the client where they continue to do the great work.
